About the Foundation
Established in 2017, the Seminole Community Education Foundation (SCEF) is a volunteer-run, independent non-profit 501(c)(3) organization created for charitable and educational purposes. Our primary focus is to provide financial support, outside the normal operating budget, to the Seminole School District, located in Seminole, Oklahoma.
The academic and extracurricular programs that we support elevate our students' educational experience. SCEF utilizes the amazing people of the greater Seminole area to contribute to bridge the gap between the market value of an exceptional teacher/staff member and current budgetary restrictions. In addition, we seek to ensure our district has access to the most innovative programs and technology to raise our students' expectations and outcomes.
We are here to incentivize greatness! Our primary goal is to retain and attract exceptional teachers and administrators who can provide a phenomenal education for Seminole’s students.
“Tradition Never Graduates” is our mantra. Our history is full of determined business leaders and citizens creating never before attempted educational initiatives. The SCEF looks to re-invigorate that imaginative spirit.
